KWIA Scholarship Available
In keeping with the mission to empower women in agriculture through education, involvement, and action the Kentucky Women in Agriculture, Inc. organization is offering a scholarship for women who are entering their junior year in college through graduate school. Scholarship applicants must be seeking a degree related to agriculture.
The guidelines below outline GPA and other requirements of applicant:

2011 Scholarship Recipient
Congratulations to Esther K. Rogers. Esther has been accepted at Auburn this fall in their veterinary program.
Esther has attended Midway College and then the University of Kentucky for her undergraduate work. She has worked in the equine field and plans to return to Kentucky as a large animal veterinarian. Esther will receive $500 per semester for the 2011-2012 school year for a total award of $1,000.
