Kentucky Women in Agriculture Annual Conference

Request for Quotes: 2026 Conference Logo Designer

Kentucky Women in Agriculture (KWIA) is seeking quotes from local designers in our agricultural community to create a custom graphic for our 2026 Annual Conference! This year’s conference theme is:

Riders Up!
The Unbridled Spirit of Kentucky Women in Agriculture

About the Conference

Our conference takes place this November in Louisville, KY, and is expected to draw 150+ attendees. It serves as a culminating event for the International Year of the Woman Farmer — a bold declaration that honors us as stewards of the land and leaders in our communities. The logo and design elements created for this project will serve as the visual foundation for all conference materials, including programs, signage, and more.

What We're Looking For

A logo and cohesive visual identity that captures the energy and spirit of the theme: the confidence of "Riders Up", the Kentucky equestrian tradition, and the unbridled strength of women in agriculture. Here are some ideas to spark your thinking (but don’t feel limited to them!):

  • Active visuals (such as farming or horseback riding) rather than posing

  • Racing motifs, like the Churchill Downs starting gates, racing silks, jockeys/horses, etc.

  • For color, we're looking for a statement tone (e.g., forest green, navy, terracotta, turquoise, emerald green, burgundy, etc.) paired with supporting hues (e.g., bourbon browns, aged cream, gold, etc.)

  • Unique aesthetics and textures (e.g., watercolor, leather, rope, etc.) are also welcomed!

Budget

KWIA is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization. Some community members have generously donated their talents in the past, and we are deeply grateful when that's possible! However, we openly welcome quotes up to $900 and will evaluate based on fit, vision, and value.

How to Submit

Please submit your interest via email to Lynsey@elementalservicesllc.org by Friday, May 1, 2026 at 11:59 PM (EST). Please write “2026 KWIA Conference Design RFQ” in the subject line, and include:

  • Your contact information

  • City/County of residence or business

  • A few portfolio samples that represent your work and style

    • These don't have to be conference-related! Graphic design work, high-quality hand-drawn art, illustration, or anything that gives us a clear picture of your aesthetic and skill are all welcome.

    • Attach them as files or provide a link

  • Your quote for the project (if applicable)

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to ask. We can't wait to see the talent within our community!

Thank you,
